DVLA Medicals

Please read the following information carefully.

You must have received a letter from the DVLA asking you to make an appointment at the Scalloway Health Centre.

Please bring the following items to your appointment (you cannot be seen unless you do):

  • certified photographic proof of identity (e.g. driving license or passport)
  • spectacles or contact lenses, if worn (if you wear contact lenses please do not wear them on the day of the examination, as you will need to remove them for testing your unaided vision)
  • a list of medications you take
  • letter from DVLA

Please do not book an appointment on the three working days before a Royal Mail strike as a blood or urine sample needs to be sent through the post and analysed within a couple of days.
